The MLA guidelines help us properly cite the sources we use in our essays. If there was not an MLA format the people who said or wrote the things we are quoting will never get credit for what they did. When I refer to the way I cited my work and my works cited for that essay according to our MLA format handout in class they were all done properly. It is good to get the hang of MLA down sooner rather than later because it is something you use all through your time at college. When you introduce the author of the quote before the quote like I did in my essay “Physicist Mark Boslough would disagree, as he writes in his essay, “We Must Protect..” you do not have to cite them after the quote according to Professor. As long a they are introduced before then it is ok. That essay shows the I was able to cite in proper MLA format which will help with my credibly and argument in the essay.
